1. Fill out the PDF forms and make a public declaration that you are chemical free to "Get on the List".
2. Fill out the PDF forms to document your chemical free inputs, where you buy your chemical free feed,
how you produce chemical free hay.
If you don't have access to chemical free hay or cannot produce it yourself, just state where you are in the process of becoming chemical free.
If you are "partially chemical free", then that is a good beginning.
3. Share where you are on your "chemical free journey" with the world. Document your farm online to show everyone just like you would share documents with a third party USDA Organic Inspector.
4. Have your family members, friends, neighbors and most importantly, your customers declare that they have seen your operation and "to the best of their knowledge" about what you do, you are chemical free.
5. Be prepared to respond to complaints from people that know you and might think you are not really "chemical free."
The possibility of a "complaint" from people that know what you do 365 days a year is what makes this type of "community based certification" much stronger than any other type of certification, where the 3rd party inspector only sees you one day a year.
6. Put the "Certified Chemical Free" logo on your website with a link back to your online documentation. Each logo comes with your own number that links to where your online documentation is stored.
7. To keep your documentation current, we suggest that you get a dedicated Facebook page just for your documentation, so you can easily make updates. This Dedicated Facebook Page with your frequent updates shows the world that your certification is current and has not expired. If you do your own Dedicated Facebook Page for your documentation, you are doing all of the work and don't owe us anything.
8. Fees? Who Needs Them! We are not doing this for money. But you are welcome to donate your time or assist us, just contact us and we will put you to work.
